More Peeks of C'est la Vie

New banner cardstock stickers to coordinate with the C'est la Vie collection.
These stickers add a lovely touch to any layout or card.
I used the 'I  Love You'  banner sticker from the C'est la Vie collection for this sweet little box.

I'm so excited about these cardstock stickers! Here they are in two different themes: Victorian and Diva. How cute are they?!

Here is a door hanger that was created using  new Aqua Doily paper from the C'est la Vie Collection and stickers from the Diva theme.

New C'est la Vie Collection

This beautifully soft,  romantic collection is the newest line from Melissa Frances debuting at CHA.
C’est la Vie - Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to. We all face struggles and obstacles. It is how we handle them that defines us.
This collection celebrates life in its imperfect, inherent messiness. Like the 'Thankful' collection, these papers will have part of the proceeds donated to www.breastcancer.org Melissa's charity of choice.

Head over to the Melissa Frances Blog to find out how you can win the C'est la Vie collection!

Brooch and Crepe Paper Bouquet

I used this great tutorial from Folding Trees on how to make crepe paper flowers.   In the tutorial, the flowers are made with tissue paper.  I thought I'd try my hand at using some of the beautiful crepe paper from Melissa Frances.
I made about six paper flowers and twisted all the stems together. Ribbon was then wrapped around the stems and a lovely brooch was pinned on the ribbon stem. I used feather plumes and satin flowers to fill in gaps in the bouquet. The last step was to pin the brooches inside each flower.

Fun, easy and lovely.

Witchy Women

Hallow's Eve is less than two weeks away! Are your pumpkins carved? Have you figured out what your costume will be for Halloween?

Here are a couple Halloween decor ideas for you.
Caged Witches...YIKES!

I decorated mini bird cages by placing pictures of  lovely witches inside and embellishing the outside. You can find the witches at Lisa's Altered Art.   I used vintage inspired bingo cards from Melissa Frances and glued the cages down onto them. I then placed a piece of pattern paper  inside and adhered the witch to it using Zip Dry.  Decorate the outside of the cage using feathers, mini pumpkins that have been sprinkled  with glass glitter and a banner with the words "Witch Hazel" and "Bad Witch" ( or whatever you'd like your banner to say). Cut out the banners and line the edges with glue and sprinkle with glass glitter. Then place a pretty little cameo along side the mini pumpkin.
