Ruby Snap Bakery Tour

This post is sponsored.

This past Saturday, I had the wonderful opportunity to tour the Ruby Snap bakery with other local bloggers, foodies and influencers.
Cookies for breakfast? YES, please! Talk about a perfect way to start the day!

Just look at that perfect vanilla bean sugar cookie. Did I mention the frosting is buttercream beet? *swoon*

Bright and early on Saturday morning, we began our tour of this local gem.  We were warmly greeted by founder Tami Steggell and the delicious scent of freshly baked cookies. It was heavenly.

Tami's story of how she left her career as an architectural designer to open a cookie shop is so inspiring. She followed her dreams and turned her passion  into a thriving business. Her addicting cookies are what dreams are made of.
 Seriously.

The bakery is reminiscent of a WW2 airplane hangar and I love how each cookie has a name and vintage picture of a 1940s pinup girl.
 So adorable!

Each cookie is handcrafted with fresh and natural ingredients. No shortening, preservatives or anything artificial goes into these babies.

One of the many things I love about Ruby Snap cookies are the delightful and unique flavor pairings. For example, the Frida is a spicy chocolate with a chile de arbol ganache center topped with cinnamon toasted pepitas. You're definitely not going to find that an any ol' bakery!  Take a peek of the menu  HERE and fall in love with your new favorite cookies.
 You're welcome.

We loved the behind the scenes look of Ruby Snap's day to day operation. They work so hard to make sure all those delicious cookies are absolute perfection.

If you haven't been to Ruby Snap yet, get your cute self to this incredible bakery and see for yourself what all the buzz is about!  Every time I have friends visiting from out of town, I take them to get cookies at Ruby Snap and now they're all obsessed too. It's a MUST when you're visiting Salt Lake City!

If you can't make it to Ruby Snap's store front in downtown Salt Lake City, all Harmons  grocery stores throughout Utah carry their frozen dough in the freezer section.

Thank you so much Ruby Snap and Food Sense Media for this awesome opportunity, I can't wait to visit again for more incredible cookies!

American Girl Unicorn Party

If you're looking for some AMAZING American Girl party ideas, you won't want to miss this! I've teamed up with American Girl Ideas and Cricut for a huge round up of all things American Girl! Be sure to head over toAmerican Girl Ideas site to check out all of the fabulous party ideas.

Today I have a beautiful autumn inspired unicorn soiree to share with you. The incredibly talented Invited by Audriana created the gorgeous Dolly and Me invitation which set the tone for the entire party. The rich color palette of deep fuchsia and gold was perfect for this autumn party.

Unicorn Party

Since we are heading into autumn, pumpkins are a must have. Of course they had to be unicorn pumpkins and each girl and doll loved receiving their very own.

Using my Cricut Maker, I made unicorn horns out of gold glitter cardstock and flowers out of cardstock as well. I was able to find all the designs to create the unicorn horns in the Cricut Design Space

The girls loved their matching dolly and me unicorn horns and had a blast wearing them at the party. They were so quick and easy to make using Cricut Design Space, my 6 year old even helped with assembling them! I love how they turned out and they were a huge hit at the party.

How lovely are these unicorn bottles? I used my Maker to cut the unicorns out of gold foil and then adhered them to the bottles. Gold straws were the finishing touch to these adorable drink glasses.

Goodies bags are a must at any party and these matching dolly and me unicorn treat bags were perfect for this petite soiree.
Using my Cricut Maker, these bags were effortless to create and were loved by all the little guests.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to check out the Best of  American Girl Party Ideas with Cricut over on the American Girl Ideas site.

Light adds warmth and coziness to any room. Bring in flickering candles to set on tables, counters and other kitchen surfaces to build fall vignettes around.  This will give a warm glow to your kitchen space on those chilly autumn evenings.  Use a rustic charcuterie board as the base for a unique autumn vignette and arrange flowers, pumpkins and other autumn spoils to the board.

I hope these quick tips inspire you to refresh your home for the beautiful autumn days ahead. Bring on pumpkin spice everything!
