Pancakes and Pajamas Party

                                                                           Hi friends!
I wanted to share a fun party I did for the Eighteen 25 blog last month.
Our daughter has been BEGGING for a sleepover and honestly, I'm just not quite ready for the whole slumber party thing.  I met her halfway and suggested the next best thing....a pancake and pajama party! We invited her little friends over on a Saturday morning in their jammies to watch cartoons, nibble on pancakes and play games.

I made the invitations using the small fun size cereals and covered them with these darling retro inspired cereal box papers.

I cut the paper to size and attached the paper to the front of the boxes and tied bakers twine around the box. I also tucked a tiny wooden spoon through the bakers twine because you simply can't eat cereal without a cute polka dot spoon, right?!

The inside of the invite had the details of the party on this cute nostalgic paper. How fun are those retro TVs?

Each child received a cereal invite and party hat to wear. Pretty sure this was the first time any of the kids had received a box of cereal as an invitation. ;-)

Remember when you had to wait all week to watch your favorite cartoons on Saturday mornings? No? Ugh. Guess I'm just old. Anyway, here's another shot of the retro inspired party hats. The kids loved wearing their silly Saturday morning breakfast hats while watching cartoons.

I poured orange juice in little bottles that had fun Saturday morning sayings attached to them. Who doesn't love breakfast?!

Of course we had to have pancakes at our pancakes and pajamas party! I made stacks of itty bitty pancakes for the kids to enjoy. Even with all the sticky faces and spilled orange juice, we had a blast and it was the best un-sleepover we've ever had!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Sweet Swan Birthday Party

Happy Birthday to my sweet little niece! She wanted a swan party for her 3rd birthday and you better believe I was going to make that happen! We had such a blast celebrating our little Solvi turning the big 3. With all things sparkly and pink, I'm pretty sure the birthday girl and her guests were in heaven. Check out all the party details below!

This gorgeous swan party collection by the incredibly sweet and talented Jen T. By Design could not have been more perfect for the party. Silver, cream and blush were exactly the colors I was looking for to style the party.
Here is the beautiful invite complete with sparkly stars and a swan wearing a tiny crown. So sweet! The collection included a welcoming sign, cupcake toppers, straw flags, cupcake wrappers and water bottle labels. Take a look at all the cuteness!

Swan water bottle wraps and straw flags dressed up vintage glass bottles.

Dessert toppers tucked inside a pile of delicious meringue rose cookies.

Can you see all that sparkly edible glitter?!

Dessert toppers aren't just for cupcakes! I also used them to embellish fun party hats and attached the straw flags to the top of the hats. So many fun uses for these printables! I love this swan collection and swooned over it every time I looked at it. So gorgeous.

My cousin Leigh from Baby Gabey Cookies  completely outdid herself with these cookies! Look at all that gorgeous detail on the feathers....and don't even get me started on those tiny glittery star cookies! Edible glitter might be my new obsession.

Here's another look at these beautiful swans that taste just as incredible as they look!

Cue all the heart eyes in the world for this incredibly beautiful banner from Grey Dot Co. How perfect is this for the party?! Not only does it make insanely beautiful party decor but it also doubles as gorgeous bedroom decor. I hung this in my daughter's bedroom so she can always remember to have courage and be kind.

Beautiful blush, cream and gray adorn the swan banner as well as the most perfect saying for little girls. I just love this banner so much and it will always remind me of the special day we got to spend with our sweet Solvi and all our friends.

How fun is this feather garland? Perfect for a swan party, wouldn't you say?

These darling hair ties from Plum Polka Dot were a huge hit with all the little girls at the party. Beautifully crafted hair ties were a fun and unique favor for the guests (which they immediately insisted on tying in their hair or wearing them as bracelets). I love the personalized custom message that was printed on the cards to let each little guest know how much we loved having them attend.
I placed the hair tie favors in little bags, attached a white plume and tied them with ribbon. LOVE this idea for party favors!

The pretty hair ties were tied in hair.....

....and worn as bracelets. The girls and moms alike fell in love with them!

Thanks so much to all the INCREDIBLE vendors that helped make this birthday party so special and perfect. I couldn't have done it without you!

Thank you for stopping by and have a happy day!
