Spring Stacking Boxes

Nostalgic in theme and dressed in frosted confectionery colors, this sweet accent piece is perfect for decorating a springtime bridal shower or tea. It's easy to make and ideal for using leftover scraps of patterned paper and embellishments.

I posted this project several months ago but took it down because it was going to be published in Paper Creations. Now that the publication is out, I thought I'd share it with you again in case you missed it.

Directions-
Cut pattern paper to fit each box and then adhere. Stack boxes according to size and adhere together.

Wrap tissue garland around the bottom  and top of the middle box and adhere. Open brooch pin and push pin through on the right side of the middle box as shown.

Embellish top of box with ephemera stickers. Adhere feather plume to the back of the stickers. Arrange pink sprig and dove on top of the box as shown.

Supplies used-

Here Comes Peter Cottontail

I absolutely love using these glass domes  from Melissa Frances for projects. Today I thought I'd share with you a fun and easy decoration for your table or mantle.

I used a page from an Attic Treasures Postcard Book as the base and placed a vintage rabbit sticker on the inside of the glass dome. Shredded tissue paper was used to cover the bottom of the inside of the dome. I glued the glass dome on top of the postcard and surrounded it with speckled eggs and bits of tissue garland. I then tied some fabric scraps onto the postcard. I finished it up by tying some ribbon around the top of the dome.

Spring Decor

A sweet and feminine mini hanger for bridal shower favors, spring brunches or spring home decor. This project was incredibly quick and easy. Simply cover the hanger with pattern paper and ink the edges of the paper. Use the resin frame to trace a piece of paper, cut out and glue on the back of the frame. Adhere the resin sparrow on the paper inside the frame. Wrap the pink and white spring around top of hanger and fasten brooch to the top.
