Peace Card

Today I'd love to show you a card I made using the beautiful
Attic Treasures collection in combination with a background paper from the brand new Glamour & Grunge collection  from Melissa Frances

My favorite part of the card are these gorgeous "Heaven Sent" resin wings. I just love the versatility of this set. I've used them on so many projects; from Christmas creations, to sympathy cards to baby projects.  They're so beautiful and unique, I'm sure you'll love them as much as I do!

Outer Space Party

Our 3 year old daughter is just a bit obsessed with space. We make several visits to the planetarium so she can get her fill of the stars, astronauts and space shuttles.  I thought it would be fun for her to invite a couple  friends to an Outer Space Party!

Whisker Graphics Little Bitty Bags are simply perfect for a kid-size goodie bag. For this project  I used a white diagonal stripe and two silver polka dot bitty bags. One of my favorite things to do with Divine Twine is to make pom poms out of it. Here is a great tutorial on how to make them using the fork method. -  How to make pom poms.
How cute is this little pom pom on top of the party hat?!

I also added poms to the front of each goodie bag as well.

I used BC Inc- Space Age papers to decorate the bitty bags and added a few enamel dots. I think we're ready to blast off into space now! :-)

Easter Bag Place Settings

Hi, friends!
Today I have a simple project for your Easter brunch table. These bitty bags can double as a place card setting as well as a favor bag. I used the Whisker Graphics kraft  Little Bitty Bags as a base and embellished them with Melissa Frances Easter Die Cuts. I added a few enamel dots to the bags and printed out names for the place settings.

Fill with jelly beans and chocolate bunnies! :)
                                                                                Enjoy!

Sunshine Goodie Bag

Hello, Sunshine!
Once in a while someone you know may need a bit of cheering up. I love to surprise a friend that's sick or maybe feeling a little down with a bright and cheery gift to lift their spirits. These goodie bags from Whisker Graphics fit the bill perfectly with their bright and happy colors and designs.

I attached a diagonal stripe bitty bag on top of a polka dot middy bag and embellished with buttons, embossed die-cut, ribbon and aqua Divine Twine

A unique way to attach a little note to the recipient is to cut a tag pennant style, place a  bird silhouette sticker to it and tie to a paper straw using aqua bakers twine.

I used a plain white cup and cut a  blue diagonal stripe bitty bag in half and wrapped it around the cup. I then attached the bird silhouette pennant to the straw using aqua divine twine.
Fill your treat cup and goodie bag with fun items your recipient loves! It's sure to bring a smile to their face. :)

Hello, Cupcake!

Are you as in love with The Sweet Life collection as much as I am?  This vintage cupcake image was begging to be put on a party hat and I happily obliged.

I used the pink stripe pattern paper from the Sweet Life collection and made it into a cone shaped hat. I then attached pink tissue paper garland around the bottom of the hat. A bit of white netting, a feather plume and a pink organza flower embellish the top of the hat. I then attached a vintage cupcake journal card and few pretty glass buttons and pearls
I think this yummy pink hat is ready for a party!

Birthday Banner

Hello!

Today I have a fun project using several awesome elements from Whisker Graphics. My handsome, hilarious, smart and creative husband's birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a decoration that also doubled as a gift for him.  I decided to make a birthday banner using Little Bitty Bags because they are the perfect size to tuck in gift cards to his favorite places. Inside each Bitty Bag, there are tags that my daughter and I wrote what we love about him and a few of our favorite memories together. My little girl also drew some cute pictures of Daddy on the tags as well. :-)

I then embellished the tags using Petite Stickys and tied a few different colors of  Divine Twine through each tag.

This is a pretty quick and simple project and I love that it serves as a decoration, present and card all rolled into one.

Thank you for stopping by and have a creative day!
