O Tannenbaum

You'd be so proud of me.  I actually did a teeny tiny bit of Christmas shopping.
I bought these for Kellen.
Aren't those little fish just as cute as they can be?  I think they'll look quite dapper on him.

On to the Christmas Tree! I used a styrofoam cone and cut out several stars and circles in different sizes and patterns on my good old Cricut.  Instead of using glue, I used pearlized pins and just started pinning stars and circles all over the cone. I then embellished the tree using cardstock stickers from the Deck the Halls collection, bits of  tissue paper garland, a sparkly chain and to top it off, a lovely green brooch.

Ta ta for now, Christmas.  See you in a few months!
Now back to my regularly scheduled summer activities. I think I'll have a popsicle. :)

Pretties

I'm not a big jewelry wearer.  I think I own maybe one necklace, and I don't even know where it is. Honestly, I can't stand things dangling off of me. But, when I saw these necklaces from  Donya O'Brian of Metal Monk Jewelry I fell head-over-heels madly in love with them. I love anything that is artfully crafted and handmade and these are absolutely gorgeous. I think it may be time to start wearing jewelry.

Spring Projects

Merry Spring!

This Spring door hang  was created using papers from the Melissa Frances Vintage Posey  line. The Spring ephemera and chandelier drops are from Attic Treasures line.
Another project using papers and ephemera from Vintage Posey and Attic Treasures.
Springtime hanging pom poms were easily made with styrofoam balls and paper  flowers. I cut out flowers (using my Cricut) in different sizes and patterns and pinned them to the styrofoam balls. I then stuck on pearls to cover the pins.
Have a Happy Easter!

Pretty much the best Easter candy ever.

Oldies But Goodies

A completely random mix of cards from the past few years (please forgive the awful scanning jobs...ugh)

This card was featured in Paper Crafts a few years ago. That's why it has such a purty photo.

Easter Garland

Isn't this Easter garland using paint chips adorable? I saw it on Modern Parents Messy Kids and thought it was  such a cute idea. Click here for instructions. I'm sure Home Depot is going to LOVE us for cleaning out their paint chip supply!
