Let's Bake with Baketivity - Baking Kits for Kids

 We had the wonderful opportunity to try Baketivity, a subscription baking kit for kids. 

If your kids love to help you in the kitchen, this is the perfect activity for your family! There are so many benefits in baking with your children, it's a fun activity that can teach them skills like following directions, patience, reading skills, motor skills and of course, it's a great way to bond with your kids.  

The Baketivity kit comes with everything you need to start creating in the kitchen. All of the ingredients come in premeasured packets so that kids can easily handle the items. All you need to provide is the wet ingredients like eggs, oil, milk, etc. 

In the box of your first subscription kit, you'll receive an adorable chefs hat and apron for the child. 

They'll feel very professional in their new chef's baking gear! 

Your kit also includes a "My Kitchen Adventures" stickers to collect throughout the year. This is such a fun way to collect memories and build confidence each time your child bakes.

Our kit this month was a delicious, chocolatey Dirt Pie. The directions are so easy for kids to read and follow along. 

While your treat is baking, kids can flip through the recipe booklet to read all about fun topics pertaining to their recipe. There are also lots of cool expirements and games throughout the booklet. We loved reading all about dirt and all the good things it does for our world. 

Check out that awesome dirt pie! Of course it's not a dirt pie without a few gummy worms (included in the kit!).
