Thanksgiving Hostess Gift

Welcome!
For the next 30 days, the Xyron Design Team will inspire you with daily projects and tutorials to get you in the holiday spirit! Get those creative juices flowing by visiting the Xyron Facebook page every day to see some beautiful projects created by the team.

I always like to bring a little handmade something to the host/hostess of a holiday dinner or party. Here is a gift and gift wrapping idea for your holiday gatherings.
I believe the presentation of a gift is just about as important as the gift itself! I love to use just a basic kraft roll of paper to wrap the gift in. One thing that has made my gift wrapping quick and easy is the Xyron Mega Runner. If you don't like the look of tape on wrapped presents, the Xyron Mega Runner gives your gifts a professional, seamless look.

Instructions:
Wrap the gift in kraft paper and use the Xyron Mega Runner to keep your paper in place. Tie bakers twine around the package.
Cut out paper feathers in three different colors and punch holes through the tops of the feathers.  Cut out Thanksgiving sentiment and punch hole through the top as well. Thread bakers twine through the feathers and sentiment and secure with a knot. Tuck autumn berry sprigs under the feathers and secure with Xyron High Tack Adhesive Dots, Spray a bit of adhesive spray over the entire package and sprinkle with a dash of white mica

Unwrap the package and this is the gift inside! A Thanksgiving wooden plaque that can be used as a centerpiece or placed on a mantle. Your hostess is sure to love it. :)

Instructions:
Paint the wood plaque with light tan paint and let dry. The plaque has three separate raised squares and the Sweater Weather paper by Simple Stories fits perfectly on each one.
After the paint has dried, run each square of paper through Xyron 5" Creative Station and place on top of the plaque. How quick and easy was that? Super cute and simple.

Thank you so much for stopping by and don't forget to visit the Xyron Facebook Page  for your daily dose of holiday creativity!
