Today I'll show you how easy it use to use a Cricut Joyto create a bright and happy card, a super cute treat container and a mini tote for a gift card or anything else you can think of to put in!

I had no idea how much I needed a Cricut Joyin my life until I got my hands on one. I love that I can create cards for every occasion in a snap, make labels for organzing, create decals, iron ons and SO much more! What I have been loving the most about my new Cricut Joy is that I can create right along with my 9 year old daughter. It's so easy for her to use and she's been making sweet cards for her friends during isolation. It has helped her to spread sunshine into her friends' lives PLUS keep her occupied. It's a win-win!

I wanted the theme of my gifts to be happiness and sunshine so I searched in Cricut Design Spacefor "sunshine" and several images popped up. I loved this cute "You Are My Sunshine" card and thought it would be perfect for the gift idea.

Cut a piece of rainbow paper into a 4x6 card and place it onto Cricut Joy Card Mat. You could also use a premade Cricut Insert Card to make your life easier!

The best part of making a card with the Cricut Joy is you don't have to mess with any kind of glue or adhesive! Just slide an insert into the card and it's all ready to go!

For this next project, I wanted to make a mini tote to place a gift card into. I found another cute sun themed image in Design Space and thought it would be perfect for the tote.

Place the Yellow Iron-Ononto the Cricut Joy StandardGrip Matwith the color facing down. Be sure to click on the "mirror image" button so your image doesn't come out backwards. Cricut also has Smart Iron-Onthat can be used without a mat!

I used myCricut EasyPress Minito adhere the iron-on image to the mini tote. It's the perfect size for these mini projects and I LOVE it. If you're on the fence about getting an EasyPress Mini, definitely get one because you will use it WAY more than you ever thought you would!

How cute is that? I love how this mini tote turned out and it's ready to be gifted to someone special.

For this last project, we're going to make a bright and happy jar filled with treats. InCricut Design Space, I searched for circles and another sun image to cut out on Cricut Smart Vinyl. It was so fun to try this vinyl out not needing to use a mat.

Once the images are cut out from the Smart Vinyl, attach them to a plastic jar or mason jar. Either one would work great!

Let's quickly make a tag to go with the goodie jar. Did you know the Cricut has the capability to write too? It's perfect for making labels, writing in cards, creating tags and many, many other things!
I searched Design Space for a tag image and then attached the "for you" text onto the tag.

The Cricut Joy uses Fine Point Pensto write in the machine and they come in a huge Assortment of Colorsto choose from.

Once the Cricut Joy cut the tag out, I threaded a few strands of ribbon through it and attached it to the jar.

Now you're ready to spread a little sunshine and joy to all your friends, family and neighbors! All three of these projects took under 20 minutes so you'll be able to make several to surprise your loved ones. Won't they love getting a thoughtful gift on their porch to brighten their day? I know it would brighten up mine!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have fun spreading sunshine with your Cricut Joy!
